Innovative Applications, Real-Time Communications
Wave Three leverages industry advances in low power, high speed computers and ubiquitous IP networks to deliver Session™ software-based communications solutions for voice, video and data collaboration.
Internet Leadership
Wave Three optimizes its applications for delivery on any IP network, including the Internet. Wave Three’s unique video Wavelet delivers real-time video using efficient, symmetrical compression and decompression.
Session has built-in intelligence to maximize performance on any type of network connection from wireless, DSL and cable to advanced broadband services.
All Software Solution
Session integrated communication capabilities eliminate the need for special purpose hardware for audio or video conferencing. With versions available for Windows 2000, Windows XP and Mac OS X, Session puts high quality collaboration a mouse click away at home, in the office or on the road.
The Conference Server is designed to deliver a flexible, multi-layer, SIP-based architecture with key functions separated for maximum flexibility, scalability and manageability. Because the software runs on standard application servers, the total cost of ownership for deployment and lifecycle management is dramatically lower than traditional conferencing solutions. The Conference Server supports group communication for voice, video and data. The initial SCS release operates on Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, with support for other platforms to follow.
Next Generation Standards
Wave Three is a leader in Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) implementations for voice, video and media communication. Wave Three’s standards compliant distributed architecture delivers industry leading interoperability, manageability and scalability.
Wave Three's products work seamlessly with other SIP based products including Telephones, Soft Clients and PSTN Gateways. Add a SIP to H.323 Gateway capability and call legacy video conferencing systems.
Taking advantage of the dynamicsoft™ SIP User Agent, Wave Three has demonstrated interoperability with common SIP based Proxys from Ubiquity, Hughes Software, dynamicsoft, Vovida and Indigo. Session also connects to SIP based VoIP gateways and common SIP phones, including the Cisco 7690 SIP telephony handset.
